The entire coast of the Algarve has good waves all year round and offers excellent conditions for surfing on the beaches of the south and west coast. The Peaceful Waves Surfschool Academy is located on the fishing harbour of Alvor and we are within walking distance of the fantastic scenarios of cliffs for SUP tours and only 40 minutes by car from several surf spots on the West Coast (Ponta Ruiva, Vale Figueiras, Cordoama, etc.).
The beaches on the south coast of the Algarve are blessed with strong and consistent winter waves and sunny blue days with pleasant temperatures. Praia de Alvor is one of the best surf spots on the south coast for beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers.
We work with first class equipment (surfboards and wetsuits) and the best certified surf coaches.
We also provide “surfaris” and guide to the West Coast of the Algarve where you can surf on untouched beaches of a national nature reserve and find challenging world class waves. Only 40 minutes away. We can go to the West Coast in a 4 × 4 car and take it off the road with incredible natural scenery.
